Remind me, what is Prime Day again?
Launched in 2015, Prime Day is a sitewide sales event on Amazon for Prime members only. On actual Prime Day — which, for the second year in a row, will last a full two days — Amazon releases lightning deals on various products throughout the day, which continue for a few hours or until the items sell out. (One tip: They often sell out, so it’s best not to dillydally.)
What is on sale during Prime Day?
Typically, there are endless “deals” advertised for Prime Day, but we’ve always focused on the actually good ones, including many things we’ve written about on the Strategist. As you can imagine, Amazon items (like a Kindle or an Echo) are usually where you can really score, but otherwise, finding actual bargains will require some wading through a lot of, well, muck.
